Sales Tax
Helios Custom Designs will include sales tax based on the ship-to-location and the sales tax rate in effect at the time of shipping. If the sales tax rate for the state in which your order is shipping changes before the product is shipped, the new tax rate in effect at the time of shipping will apply. The proof of purchase that we send to you will include any applicable sales tax.
Tax-Exempt Orders
Proof of tax exempt status for the state where the product is shipping (i.e. copy of your Tex Exempt Certificate or Letter) is required when the order is placed. The organization name on the order must match the state tax-exempt certificate. Federal tax exemption certificates are not accepted.
Lead Times
Lead times are based on the product and complexity of the design. Lead times are given on a quote basis and are estimates. We make every attempt to ship within the time specified in your quote. If a lead time is not specified, the product is expected to ship within 30 days.
Artwork
By submitting an artwork, logo, text or photograph for use in a laser engraving to Helios Custom Designs, you certify that you have the right to use the artwork, logo or photographs in your files. You agree not to supply Helios Custom Designs with any items consisting of the following: material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability; and any material that could infringe rights of privacy, publicity, copyrights or other intellectual property rights without the permission of the owner of these rights. You accept full legal liability for the content of material processed and printed on your behalf and under your instructions.
Liability for Errors
Helios Custom Designs is not liable for errors committed by you during the course of personalizing a product. These errors, though not limited to, may be a result of the following: misspelling, grammar, punctuation, or image resolution. We are not liable for customer supplied items that may have special coatings, lack of protective coatings, or other materials, known or unknown that may be marred, damaged or destroyed by any and all processes used in the engraving, marking, cutting, cleaning, storage or any other process used in production of a customized item in our possession.
